Biography:You won't find a more competent and compassionate family medicine practitioner than Jonathan Walters, MD. Dr. Walters serves as the Medical Director and Primary Care Provider for our Massac Medical Clinics. He's also the Chief Medical Officer for Massac Memorial Hospital and an assistant professor for several universities.
Board certified in Family Medicine, he treats patients of all ages, from newborns to adults.
Dr. Walters grew up in southern California and later earned a Bachelor of Science degree in biology from the University of Evansville and a master's degree in biology from Western Kentucky University. He attended medical school at the University of Louisville and completed a residency at Deaconess Family Medicine.
Outside of his practice, Dr. Walters volunteers with the Boyscouts of America and is an active member of Heartland Church. He has also been married for 16 years and shares four children and one Boston terrier with his wife.
When he's not treating patients, you can find Dr. Walters enjoying family activities, playing board and video games, and camping.
