Speech Therapist (PRN)

Assigned to Rehab Services Dept to work on as needed (& on-call) basis to provide outpatient/inpatient assessment for infants, children, adults & geriatric patients, as ordered by treating physician, who have various levels of speech, communication or swallowing difficulties or disorders. Develop individual treatment plan (to include family or other caregivers) to enable client to improve to maximum potential. Monitor & evaluate client progress & provide individual or group therapy sessions as required. Chart case notes & provide report(s) as needed. Manage caseload taking into account priority cases, waiting lists, successful outcomes, referral & discharge of clients. Typically work one-on-one with client (with parents, family or other caregivers as required) or may work in multidisciplinary team approach depending on client needs.

Must be licensed as Speech & Language Pathologist in Illinois (or be eligible for IL licensure) & able to quickly establish rapport with client & his/her family/caregiver(s). Possess excellent interpersonal & written communication plus basic computer & modern office skills including word-processing, EMR, e-mail, etc. Be dependable self-starter.

RN (part-time) & PRN

Work Special Care Unit (SCU), 7p-7a, Mon & Fri each week or work part-time on Med-Surg floor. Provide quality care using nursing process & teaching to critical care (including ventilator) patients. Monitor & interpret telemetry monitors. PRN RN's will staff Med/Surg or other units (ER & OR). Both part-time and PRN (all shifts) may float to other units as needed.

Graduate of accredited/approved program in nursing w/current IL RN license (or temp work permit). SCU RN must possess excellent interpersonal & written communication skills & basic computer skills (including database mgt, EMR & e-mail) with CPR, ACLS, dysrhythmia reading certification (or obtain OTJ) & complete CCU training. PALS preferred. PRN RN's may have/obtain ACLS, dysrhymia reading, CCU and PALS but these not required for those RN's assigned to Med/Surg. Be dependable self-starter.

Emergency Medical Technician (EMT)- Basic (PRN)

Work when called or scheduled. Complete unit responses & may serve as ER Tech & patient transport in hospital. Must be IL cert Basic with valid driver's license, CPR cert & medication test. Perform moderate to strenuous physical exertion in pt lifting & extrication. Complete IDPH CEU's, ITLS, NIMS 100 & 700 & equip specific training, EMS trauma survey & competencies. Possess good written/interpersonal & computer skills including e-mail & data-base mgt. Pay commensurate with experience w/$1 xtra/hr.

Occupational Therapist (OT) PRN

Work as needed to perform pt evals & implement & adjust individualized treatment plans until pt reaches max level of function. Provide direct pt care, education & therapy per IL Occ Ther Prac Act & dept stds. Delegate & supervise specific treatment to COTA. Chart all evals, treatment goals, plans, etc. & regularly update. Maintain all required Rx's & signatures.

Need graduate of accredited OT program w/IL license (or temp work permit) w/prior experience preferred. Possess modern office & basic computer skills including database mgt & e-mail w/excellent interpersonal & written communication skills. Be self-starter w/good follow-thru on assignments & dependable in attendance & punctuality.

Work collaboratively w/supervising PT (& other hlthcare professionals & staff) on pt progress & any condition change. Provide pt &/or family education & home exercise program instruction & maintain pt records including progress notes, discharges, notes to docs & required prescriptions & signatures.

Need graduate of accredited PTA program w/IL license (or temp work permit) w/prior experience preferred. Possess modern office & basic computer skills including database mgt & e-mail w/excellent interpersonal & written communication skills. Be self-starter w/good follow-thru on assignments & dependable in attendance & punctuality.
