Occupational Therapist (OT) PRN

Work on as needed basis to perform pt evals & implement & adjust individualized treatment plans until pt reaches max level of function. Provide direct pt care & therapy per IL Occ Ther Prac Act & dept stds. Delegate & supervise specific treatment to COTA. Chart all evals, treatment goals, plans, etc. & regularly update. Maintain all required Rx's & signatures.

Need graduate of accredited OT program w/Illinois license (or temporary work permit) with prior experience preferred. Possess excellent interpersonal & written communication plus basic computer including word-processing, e-mail, etc. Be dependable self-starter.

Emergency Medical Technician (EMT)- Basic (PRN)

Need several EMT-B’s to work when called or scheduled by providing primary care & ambul transport of sick & injured per stds. Use judgment & initiative in providing individualized care to emergent & non-urgent patient types. Inspect ambulance for readiness at shift start, complete charge sheet & run rpts when key in data. May serve as ER Tech & assist with pt transport in hosp.

Be IL cert Basic w/valid driver’s license, CPR cert & complete System (EMS) medication test. Perform moderate to strenuous phys exertion in lifting & extricating pts & moving equip. Complete IDPH CEU & driving course & test w/i 1 yr & ITLS, NIMS 100 & 700 & equip specific training including Stryker Cots & PIC 50 monitors, EMS trauma survey & test in 6 mths. Possess excellent interpersonal & written communication & basic computer skills including database mgt & e-mail.

LPN's (full-time & part-time) & PRN (LPN's & RN's)

Need 1 full-time LPN to work 7p-7a in Med-Surg 3 nites/week including every other weekend, 2 part-time LPN's to work M & F every week either 7a-7p or 7p-7a shift & PRN LPN's & RN's work as needed including weekends. May float to other units.

Need current IL LPN or RN license (or temporary work permit), self-starter, dependable & possess good interpersonal/written commun skills, basic compu skills (including database mgt, EMR & e-mail) w/CPR. RN in SCU or ER requires ACLS. SCU requires dysrythmia reading cert. (or obtain OTJ w/i 3 mths) & complete CCU training. ER requires PALS in 6 mths w/TNCC preferred.

Full-time elig for all benefits, part-time elig for pd leave benefits & PRN's receive extra pay of $2/hr-LPN or $4/hr-RN + base pay (based on experience).

RN or LPN (PRN) - Geriatric Program

Work 1-2 days a week PRN (another day could be added later) plus fill-in periodically for full-time RN during absences. Will assess and monitor health status and physical care needs of patients at admission and throughout treatment. Supervise patients in all aspects of medication management & self-administration. Provide health/medical education to patients & families including self-care, medical/behavioral health needs, medications, etc. Function as part of interdisciplinary treatment team & communicate relevant clinical care information to the patient's PCP. Maintain physician orders and required paperwork. Perform administrative, clerical & other tasks as required. LPN is permitted to work only under full-time RN. Report to Program Director.

Graduate of accredited college of nursing with current IL RN or LPN license or temporary work permit (w/CPR certification) & experience in acute-care clinical, psychiatric or long term care nursing. Certification & experience in gerontological or psychiatric nursing preferred. Possess excellent interpersonal & written communication & basic computer skills including e-mail & data base mgt. Must be well organized self-starter, team player & dependable in attendance & work follow-thru.
